I don’t watch ER very often, but it’s very instructive if you’re in a “How do you put together a drama?” frame of mind. And I can only giggle helplessly when I see trailers of vastly inferior British series like Casualty trying to compete… one of these had two surgeons engaged in an ever-louder shouting match, mid-operation… oh, it was risible.
ER any day. As long as they can maintain the freshness and human interest and the other mysterious ingredients that make a ‘success’.
