Emo hair styles are a current style, started by followers of emo or “emotional” music.
Emo is really a type of music that has a fan following. Emo fans have a very specific way of dressing, behaving, talking, and wearing their hair. Pretty much everybody has seen someone who looks Emo, but may have not realized it at the time. According the world of Emo, anyone can become Emo if they truly want it, but it’s very hard to be partially Emo or not one hundred percent dedicated to being Emo because those who are fully Emo will know the difference.

Emo hair isn’t exactly original anymore, to be original nowadays you have to be unoriginal and have – SHOCK ! – Just a regular, natural hairdo. That’s the way it is where I live anyhow, it’s like emo-town here. If you’re not emo than you’re a conformist rofl. XD Scary stuff.
I think emo hair is the reason for the big explosion in the fad… it’s a flattering cut for many face shapes, though it is getting to be over-done.
