Well the drummer was a boy, nevermind… I think they were great, and I really regret they did not make more records… Wasted talent, they really rocked!

Yes they were brilliant. Their first album had 20 short and sweet songs. They could have been huge but alas they did nothing for about 7 years before releasing their second album :)

Is the second album any good? I bet it wasn’t, if I cannot recall ….. I have the first, it’s ace! My favourite track is Waking Up, and also The Car Song ….

Lol. I thought about adding The Car Song to this website recently, but i didn’t think anyone would get the joke ;-) LOL .

The second album isn’t worth listening to, it wasn’t worth releasing either :)

Donna Matthews, the red/ginger head was the prettiest i thought. The guy drummer had no interest for me… lol.

Well he is cute, as far as I remember! And I cannot forget the great video to Waking Up…wow!! Have to look it up on Youtube, I haven’t watched it for a while

I understand! I just think it was a sort of parody, or response to the Beloved video, do you remember? Sweet Harmony, they had women on the floor… so of course i prefer this!! but it is also for the music…lol

Yay, more Elastica appreciation! It’s completely criminal that their oher album was so ‘meh’ (especially after being so overdue), but tracks from _Spastica have been a hallmark of my mixtapes for a long time, now. Fine, fine album.

He’s a Man Utd player, he has an anger problem and he knocks up ho’s ;-)

This would be forgiveable if he’d scored for England in the last two years of course :)

I have “Da Da Da” from there second album, it was the best track on it i think, and not so good. I will upload if you want to listen anyway :)

I was going to say the same about Da Da Da. It’s amusing and the only real high point to the 2nd album, but it doesn’t have a lot of replay value. It’s a also a cover, so they don’t even get points for the wittily obnoxious lyrics and minimalist composition. :/

it’s not bad… although, apart from Justine vocals, it is very similar to the original version. The metronome was in Trio’s version too.

Doesn’t it bother you even a bit when they use samples? They could have a synth. Samples just bother me. If you aren’t a respectful Cabre Voltaire, which was founded on collected sounds, you’re Brittany Spears. I’m sorry, it’s a pet peeve of mine. I like the sound somewhat, don’t get me wrong. It’s just bothersome.
