E-mail Replies and Replying Directly to Someone

I have 2 suggestions…

1) Allow users to reply to specific comments on a best stuff page. For example if Mr Wong says “Oh yes indeedy!” in the first comment on a page and there are 20 subsequent comments there is no way of repling directly to him because my comment will go to the bottom of the page.

2) Send out e-mails if someone comments either directly to you as in 1) above or if someone comments on your profile.

Sending out e-mails for replies to your stuff is good…it will bring people back to the site to see whats been said. If i didn’t come to this site regularly i would never know if there were any comments for me to read.
