Duck-billed Platypus

Duck-billed platypuses live mainly in Australia. They have a duck beak and webbed feet and a beaver tail and fur. When this animal was first discovered, everyone thought it was a hoax, a fake animal sewed together.

Over the years, the platypus has become more popular. Recently, Disney Channel aired a new animated show called Phineas and Ferb in which the boys owned an unusual platypus. Perry the platypus led a secret life as a spy. His main mission was to foil sinister Dr. Doofenshmirtz's evil plans.
