One of the most influential games ever made. Zippety-damn-fast, more violent than anything that came before it, and harder than Hell itself on Nightmare mode. This DOS classic has been officially ported to Jaguar, Mac OS, Windows, SNES , PlayStation, and Game Boy Advance. After the source code was released under the GPL , it was ported to everything from the Dreamcast to the iPod to the interactive touchscreens in its own sequel, Doom 3.
