Dir en grey is a Japanese rock band formed in 1997. While the lineup has remained constant since the group’s inception, numerous stylistic changes have made its genre difficult to determine (though it is generally a form of Rock music). Originally part of Japan’s Visual Kei movement, Dir en grey has opted for less flamboyant attires in recent years.

I adore Dir en Grey (especially Kaoru!)... I just wish that at the lives they’ve been doing lately that they would play some of their older stuff. Especially yokan; I would love to see that one live. At the Korn Family Values tour, their entire set was from Withering to Death, except The IIId Empire. Just because they left the visual look behind 9whih is fine, I’ll support them either way) doesn’t mean that they should forget about their music from when they were visual. I wanna hear som Six Ugly live dammit! ...but yea…I still love them! A_~

The entire band makes a huge impact everywhere in the world. Hell, the entire band, including their bassist inspired me to pick up a bass and play. Now i’m aiming to be a famous female musician. (I doubt that’ll happen lol).

I love Dir en Grey! Kyo is so small and cut (when he's out of make-up) I love them. They're great to listen to when your in a bad mood – Kyo screams for you!

I wasn't so interested in Dir En Grey until I heard one of their song that kinda reminds me of one of X Japan. It was some how similar to theirs too. But I still think that they are really good. Lots of fan in the USA.
