Diamonds Are Forever, released in 1971, is the 7th James Bond film, and the sixth to star Sean Connery as MI6 agent James Bond. It is based mostly on Ian Fleming's novel of the same name.
"Diamonds Are Forever", the title song, was the second James Bond theme to be performed by Shirley Bassey, after "Goldfinger" in 1964.
