Degrassi

this tv show is a joke. even if i was 13, i’d still laugh at how stupid and lame the characters and ‘real’ situations are. and that miriam chick is the most annoying girl i’ve ever seen on tv besides the girl on one of those csi shows (forget which) where she’s like i’m so fucking goth and punk and YOU SUCK . but they’re both pretty close.

i feel so stupid for criticising a show made for preteens, but i did it!

have you seen it lately it is absolutly not for preteens any more with stabbings that result in death and wild parties and drugs and pregnancies.

If you don’t like it then don’t watch it, and don’t complain about it.

I prefer the version which aired in the 80s, but I’m amused to know Degrassi still goes on, with all the goofy scandalousness, bad fashion, and weird moral ambiguity of the original. The series was never so much ‘realistic’ as it was knowingly, gleefully tawdry, but that of course is the charm.

its better now i think when everyone is all grown up.
