David Tennant has appeared in several acclaimed television dramas, including Casanova (BBC TV Series) and Blackpool (TV Series), and has made an appearance in a Harry Potter film. However, his biggest claim to fame is his latest role as the tenth Doctor Who.
In early 2006, he was voted the “Sexiest Man in the Universe” by the gay and lesbian newspaper The Pink Paper, showing there are still some folks in the world with taste.

Do you think David Tennant is a better Doctor Who than Christopher Eccelston?
Hmm, the recent series of Doctor Who has been very fortunate to get two very good actors to play the Doc. But as much as I like Chris, David remains my favourite of the two. I read an article that described Chris’s Doctor as “intense” and David’s as more “emotional” – and I think that’s about right.
I remember watching the new Doctor Who with Chris and thinking, gees he is good, he takes Doctor Who to a new level. And then the transition episode thinking, ooohh this David Tennant, I don’t know about him.
Then you watch him, and you check out things like Casanova, and you think shit he is good. I mean really good. He is better than anyone out there. (But Chris is still the best as well)
So yeah, I agree with the “intense” vs “emotional”.
