Curtis Manning

Curtis Manning, played by actor Roger Cross is a fictional character from the TV show 24.

Introduced in Season 4 he would become the Director of Field Operation- a title and position previously held by Jack Bauer. This position meant that Curtis was often in command of the majority of the operations, but as a TV character he was often a sidekick to that of Jack Bauer, carrying out the work needed to continue the operation- and indeed, story- when Jack was somewhere else.

Roger Cross was promoted to full-time cast mid-season, and would return the following year to reprise the role as Curtis. Season 6 would be the character's last appearance- shot dead by Jack on account of not following CTU orders.

In total, the character appeared in 45 episodes.
