I don’t know if he’s the best I’ve ever read, but he’s certainly the most clever author I’ve ever read. See if you can read The Screwtape Letters and not be compelled to re-think some things…
The Narnia novels have inspired me in so many different ways. It is hard to believe that so much imagination can come from one person. I definately agree that he is one clever writer.
“clever” is not a big enough word for the man. he’s much more than clever.
