Cribbage

A card game.  You're dealt 6 cards and each player has to discard 2 into the crib.  You go back and forth laying down cards without the cards adding up to a value of more than 31, you get points for certain amounts, as well as pairs and straights.  You can be skunked or double skunked, you use a board to keep track of points.  This is a terrible description so hopefully people will just know what crib is, other than NOT EASY TO DISCRIBE!
