Crackdown is a third-person free-roaming sandbox title for the Xbox 360. Released in February 2007 it is the work of David Jones, the creator of the Grand Thet Auto series. The game, while ultimately an action title involving shooting and driving gameplay, could also loosely be described as something of a platformer, or rather, a modern update to the genre itself.
