I agree that this is the best, but it is however one of many best anime. It is the best space cowboy bounty hunter anime by far. Then there is other stuff like Excel•Saga and of course Evangelion and Nadesco to name but a few…

Don’t get me wrong. Its a great series. If you consider 7 DVDs to be a series. To me a successful series is based on if they can go beyond the 26 episode limit. As much as some may hate it, fanbase means everything. So in fact, Naruto is the best series. You can’t beat over 200+ episodes that keeps fans in demand.

How many episodes they have does NOT make it bad or good. I mean, a show can have a lot of episodes, and be the crappiest show there is. It's quality, not quanity.

Cowboy Bebop is perfection. Haven't seen anything like it and probably won't. If I had to choose my fav pieace of media of all time, it would be cowboy bebop… i am listening to the soundtrack almost every day (since 7 years now) and i have to watch the series at least once a year… and everytime i get a feeling like im back home…

The fact that every goddamn episode is mind blowing makes it the best.

 

 

And seriously, there are VERY FEW animes out ther that have that much depth in storytelling as there is in Bebop.

omg! how dare u insult cowboy bebop even the movie was good and i love the music despite being into metal and the ending has to be the best ever i cant understand how naruto is better while i watch naruto i think it drags on and on cowboy bebop didn’t have one training scene in it

Neurolapze your use of the word best is fairly fail as you are looking at it in an objective business sense. Fan base does not mean quality, because a fan is someone with a specific taste… the majority of people can have a somewhat similar taste (naruto) but there's no way to say that's better. A number of episodes means they have funding, it's a massive business with countless sponsors, games, and i'm assuming that compared to other anime's it would be a lot less demanding to make than others due to the fact that in some episodes the scenery doesn't change…like…at all. Haven't even seen this anime lolol, just don't like the concept of majority = better when majority = giddy and oblivious.
