Please remove Mother Theresa's picture, unless this represents Catholic/religious charity, it is not the best symbol for compassion, besides it gives people the wrong impression that compassion pertains to religion. Also many of us do not consider Mother Theresa compassionate, given her position against birth control, and her opinion that suffering and poverty are necessary.
We need more reason and compassion in this world, and ofcourse this doesn't exclude justice.
i don't agree. she was loaded with compassion! infact when most people think of a compassionate person they think of mother teresia. religon has nothing to do with it.
Read her confessions and you will change your mind. Even if she were compasssionate, she is a religious icon, and she is deterrent to non-religious persons, or people of different faiths, and to people who studied her life. But for all whats worth I think she caused more suffering than relief. Wouldn't a picture more neutral be more suited? Something symbolic would be best. :)

We need more compassion :))
Sorry but i disagree. We need to help people to improve the possibility to help themselves. And this for a sense for justice and not for compassion.
the only way that the world be completely free of haterd and war and suffering is
for us all to devlope our compassion.

Read the Rotten.com article on Teresa. Then all of you will know about her.
Compassion is one of those things that transcends religion.
I added a non-biased non-religious depiction of comapssion, I hope you don't mind. I am spiritual, but I am not religious.
This world would be a better place if people had more compassion for each other….
