When Vancouver native Coco Rocha was discovered at an Irish-dance competition, it took a whole year of convincing before she agreed to give modeling a try. ("If it'll get you to leave me alone!" she recalls telling the agent.) Three more years later, Coco has fit seamlessly into the fashion world, strutting catwalks at Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui, shooting campaigns for Lanvin and Balenciaga (twice), and making model pals like Behati Prinsloo. But the eighteen-year-old manages to keep both feet on the ground. She plans on working with a New York City charity to teach her main love, dance, to underprivileged kids, and is the first to admit, "It's still a little exciting to see myself in magazines!"
