i did it once,,
In Zurich the resturant Blindekuh (litterary blind cow it's the German name of the children game blind man's bluff) is run by blind people. This place is completely dark; so one can experience for a couple of hours how it is to live in a world without light and colours.
In the same sort of vein, when I was little I used to practice doing things with only my left hand in case I lost my right arm in battle or something. God only knows what would've happened had I lost my left arm - I didn't extend my thinking to that apparantely.
Still, to this day I can tie my shoe-laces reasonably well with only my left hand. A useful skill if ever there was one...
I used to always stub my toe when I tried this. If I ever did go blind the first thing I would do is go out and buy steel-toe boots!!
i've done it many times. not very enjoyable.
haha, i do this quite often actually :]
Ever read "Cathedral" (a short story) by Raymond Carver?

No!

It reminds my of the writing style of Salinger, the way he wrote Catcher In The Rye.
