Whether it is when the doctor turns nasty, or an army officer hell bent on repopulating the country (via unsavoury means) Christopher Eccleston is the nicest guy who you would never expect to be a creepy psycho killer, or a ghostly dead soldier. oooh man he gives me the shivers.

Chris’ range as an actor is overwhelming. He doesn’t just play a great “scary guy” but gives the scary guy a reason, history and demons with a single look or reflection of his voice. One of the best showcases for his ability to transition between emotions was Doctor Who, with which the manic, high energy troubled mind of the Ninth Doctor showed the audience a breakneck pace in transitioning between pensive brooding and manic glee.
