Cheese is the best thing in the world, without exception, although you can never underestimate the damage that Americans and their “flavor-free cheez-lite” do to its reputation.

I have edited a quote from the heroin forum:

"It truly is the best narcotic by far but please stay away because when the dope(cheese) runs out, the devil let's himself in,and there is nothing you can do."

I agree with the American thing.

The only food that resembles real cheese in America is imported.

European cheese, of any sort, preferably very matured, is the best thing in the world.

Wisconsin, Wisconsin you fool. In Wisconsin, there is cheese, good enough to clog your digestive tract (imagine musical notes across this), and sometimes when I eat cheese in America, sometimes it is from America. When it is from America, it is sometimes really good. Even if European cheese as a whole is superior (still in song mode, this whole thing is a song), there is still very good cheese in America. You should look around, instead of day dreaming of a life in France. If you are dreaming of a life in France, you can not be in America. If you are not in America, you will not know where to find the good cheese. Even though Munster is a province in Ireland, the cheese is actually from Germany.

I. Since we've last spoke, I've eaten a few pieces of that horrendous block of yellow, my French doll friend often grimaces at. It is the most common conception of America's most desired cheese. Yellow cheddar. Milk, Salt, Annatto. There is nothing unusual about these ingredients. What many find unusual is the tightly wrapped, mysteriously questionable, machine-produced shape. Most of us have no idea what goes into this process, but we suspect that its making have a quite unpoetic quality, thus is inferior. Elitism can be defined as ignorance of taste which judges quality by look. This is also the same of Patriotism and Racism. To test the quality of something, one TASTES. One experiences, and experiments, mixing with various other articles. It is important that the food have value in nutrition, that it be food (unlike many things on the shelves of supermarkets), and that it be an experience. Simply claiming that the look of a cultures cheese makes it inferior is perposterous. There are horrible American Cheddars out there. There are many, in rectangular blocks I might add, which intertwine my meal with some fantastic element that is my culture. A biological and habitual progression which has formed my taste buds to cry out joyfully at the taste of a quality cheddar. Denial of culture should never result in denial of something once loved with no other explanation than "I have found myself a better General (such as French culture, Posh culture, etc.) therefore, I must follow their rules of criticism.

II. My grimace wore off soon after I explored Brie for what it was. Learned from it, and still find myself ignorant to it. Perhaps when I go to the kingdom of Brie, I will be able to master it and it's many forms as I have mastered the Yellow American Cheddar.

III. And there was once a anchorite who found the distinct qualities in the various pieces of shit, and the blazing summer blueberries. This is reality in its fullest, realizing that concepts work for distinction, and we need them, but reality will always escape concepts, and if we go beyond the concepts, our perspectives open, and we gain more knowledge of our fascinating world. As is The Way, so is the Way of Cheese. The Ultimate twines throughout all experience. The shit really wasn't all that beneficial nutritionally, so take this allegory with a grain of cheese since practicality is essential of human living, lest you desire the place of the anchorite, then, by all means.
