Celestial Seasonings is known to have more flavors of tea than most other tea companies, with new flavors being launched nearly every month.

Each box of tea is illustrated with often whimsical paintings or drawings - a different image for each flavor, intended to represent the feeling the tea produces to the consumer. The boxes also feature inspirational quotations from famous authors. In the past Celestial Seasonings has also offered decorative tins advertising their teas.

 Some Trivia:

• Celestial Seasonings uses over 500,000 pounds of peppermint and spearmint in their popular herb teas per year.
• The bagging machines at their Boulder, Colorado factory are capable of bagging over 1,000 bags per minute, and seal each bag with an adhesive applied at over 150°C.
• By manufacturing their tea bags without string, tags, or overwrap, Celestial Seasonings is able to eliminate over 3,617,000 pounds of waste each year.
• In a recent study of the antioxidant levels in 20 popular tea brands, Celestial Seasonings came out on top, with as much as 217 mg of catechins per serving.
