What a great post, Nick…. I wondered why nobody had yet posted her! She is the best composer.
Her and her husband Jerry Goffin wrote so many songs for other people also, the one that comes to mind are the Monkees, 60s pop band made famous on TV, but I digress, the thing is they alone recoded scad's of there music. She is responsible for the success of several other peoples carriers. yeah great post Nick.
Yeah I know what you mean Henry. For instance, 'The Porpoise Song' by the Monkees… that's a great tune, and it was written by King/Goffin, wasn't it? :)
