Carl's Jr. is an American fast-food chain, located mostly on the Western half of the United States in Pacific, Mountain and West Coast regions. It is also in the process of expanding into Canada and Mexico. It was founded in 1941 by Carl N. Karcher, and is owned by CKE Restaurants, Inc.
