Any how a British accent is so different all over the country - I cant understand most Jocks and the welsh have their own language - Im a Londoner, most of those Brits on this site appear to be Northerners the Royal Family are mostly German with the odd bit of Bubble and thats not even mentioning the Irish. There are also differences between townies and country bumpkins. And so on .....

jocks - Scottish 
Northeners - People from more than 70 miles north of England
bubble - and Squeek - Greek

when I was in the UK I could never understand a scottish person there accent is so heavy and they talk so fast, but why do you call them jocks?

I normally call them Sweaty Socks – I think the name Jocks has come from the fact its a popular Name/nickname for scottish people – Jock sounds like Scott

We dont care about driving on the wrong side of the road – its just how do we switch thats the problem – The euro and the whole united europe is all wrong – not just for us but for all but a few – its what the world wars were all about!
