On January 5th 2009, Boys Before Flowers, the Korean version of Japanese manga/drama/anime Hana Yori Dango started. Hana Yori Dango's Taiwanese version is known as Meteor Garden starring Barbie Xu (A.K.A Crotch Rocket.) and the Taiwanese boy band F4.
Geum Jan Di (Kim Hye Sun), the Korean counterpart of Makino Tsukushi starts Shin Hwa College after an incident whilst delivering clothes from her family's dry cleaning store to the college, shortly, she encounters the four richest and most spoilt boys, the F4 (Lee Min Hoe, Kim Hunney Tounge, Kim Butt, Kim Shit).
