Silly.

Wow, it’s amazing that someone would say to boycott a great site because the hosts are trying to earn a living from it. Let’s boycott Google, too!

Seriously – this is just mean.

Hear, hear! Anyone who doesn’t like ads should better volunteer to pay some serious membership fees.

And really, the thought of boycotting gets even sillier, because Luke and Adrian are willing to listen to our complaints and sort things out. You don’t find people like that everywhere. Sure, you boycott major corporations who refuse to listen, but this doesn’t make sense.

Honestly, ads don’t stop the enjoyment of the site, there there to help the site owners look after their kids, this is the most selfish category I’ve ever seen.

Overkill.

I assume we’re all here because we’re having fun with this site. If someone is not having fun, because of ads or for any other reason, it’s not really mean or selfish to move along.

Boycotting, on the other hand, implies that the site should either change or cease to exist, regardless of if some people are fine with it as is.

Really, NimbleMarmoset said it all with the first post on this page. :/
