Box Codax

A side project of Franz Ferdinand guitarist/keyboardist Nick McCarthy, Box Codax is a collaboration between McCarthy and longtime friend Andrew Ragnew, which started when they met in Germany, before Nick became a member of Franz Ferdinand. The duo's sound can be described as lo-fi electronics and experimental with many other influences; check out their 2006 album 'Only an Orchard Away'. Their greatest quality is that you can hear that they make music because they are really enjoying it, not to please anyone in particular. That's a good thing nowadays. :)
