“There’s more to life than books you know (but not much more).”
Can’t get enough of ‘em, but I’m running out of room! Help!!
I ran out of room a looooong time ago. The books have now made it to on my bed, under my bed, across the floor, in the wardrobe, on top of the wardrobe…

mmm books. soo good :) I used to hate reading but, now it seems i love it. Wish I had more time to read tho.
Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read. (Groucho Marx)
some awful awful boys in my college class were teasing me, because i liked to read books instead of going to stupid clubs at weekends. :( pfft!
reading is a pleasure!!!!!!!
Aimee, you’re smart. :)
Why reading is the best? My opinion is, that books are better than movies. Because you are director of the story, you create the characters and everything lies on your fantasy. Isn´t it the best?
A wise man once said: You don’t have enough time in your life to reed the all the good books, reed only the masterpieces. http://www.cirquelodge.com/index.php
Books are great companions. My favourite books are usually atlases, encyclopedias, and reference books. I like novels and self-help books too.

fuck a book
I need more room for books too. ha ha
I am a self-processed, self-diagnose book-addict. I can’t get enough. Books are my crack.
I, also, have compared books to crack. I have so many that I haven’t read and so many that I should re-read, yet I just keep buying them. I guess there are worse addictions.
books are such a natural part of my life that i have forgot to vote it till now.
reading is fundamental !
There is nothing like a new book – the crackle as you open the cover of a hard bound book, the smell of the paper and ink as you flit your thumb across the page edges, the coolness of the surface of an unread page…THEN you begin to read..and your world is never the same again…something, a thought, an image, an emotion, a piece of knowledge..will touch your heart and your mind, permanently changing who YOU are. What a rush!
...you need to get out more
Ditto Cherizar. A book is treasure waiting to be discovered in a different way by every reader. MaryLou
I love books. Can’t have a day without some reading.
I feel so sad when I finish a book
i dont think i have enough, they are so expensive!!! ha
I wish I was a book. Wait…I am a book.
books = LOVE =]
Not enough people are literate. If you don’t believe this, come to Corpus Christi where everyone drops out of school to get pregnant at age 13.
That sounds like my hometown, too!
Did I buy a book today? Yes, I did.
i love books!!! I’m currently reading to kill a mockingbird!
i love books!!! I’m currently reading to kill a mockingbird!
It was pretty good…How are you liking it?
Best way to know yourself.
Books are incredibly addicting.
Especially when you find a good author. _
Yup. Am recommending books Mitch Albom’s books to everyone. :))
I read “Tuesdays with Morrie” in one sitting, I was just going to read a few pages to see how it was, then before I knew it I was done!! The people at the bookstore weren’t too happy, but what are you going to do? :D
Maybe I should try that sometime. :p
very addictive. Amazon.com would love me alot.
I definately love books … The last great book I read was The Extraordinary and Unusual Adventures of Horatio Lyle by Catherine Webb. It’s a very funny book (at least to my sense of humour). The author is quite young – twenty-something. Makes me feel like I haven’t done much with my life as of yet. Ah, the inadequacy.
Ha my room’s filled with books and I still but more and more, if I finish one i buy another it’s very addictive and cute guys seem to like it, everytime i’m reading a guy pass and asks me about it :D
Ah, books, I’m not finding enough at my house.
I have the same problem, aLeb (if you can call it a problem, it is quite endearing, really) – I buy books like a nutter. I’ve got so many I haven’t read, yet I just keep buying and buying, adding to the pile!
I’m in a quandary. I’ve no room left, and I can’t bear to part with any book!
O unfortunately I have a bunch of trashy books that people give to me even though I have no interest in those kind of books…yeah I really need to get rid of them so I can spare more space for other worthy books ;)
Exactly, those teen books are simply horrible. So-and-so is torn between this and that, and guys vs. girls fights. They tend to assume that we woud like those books. They don't know us well when it comes to books.
You should try reading "The Clique". It's a bit different from those dramatic teen books.
Thank you Ninja. I adore your name. =] And I have been meaning to read the first novel for some time … however it is never in the library. Always checked out. Wildly popular, apparently.
Finrod- I too, suffered for many years from Add-Another-Pile-To-The-Stacks syndrome. Finally, (when I couldn’t move about freely any more), I decided to give away my books to anyone I met who, in passing conversation, happened to mention that they hadn’t yet read this or that book, but would like to. Now, I actively look for people to pass my books on to as soon as I finish reading them. I currently only have something like 90 or so books lying about, and that is just so much more manageable. You don’t miss them after a while…. after all, you can always borrow them back!
NomiLove you are a saint! I, however, am a hoarder. There's no way I'll give a book away unless I really hated it.
And then I just feel guilty that some other poor soul's reading it.
