Anybody here actually drive one?

Yep! My father used to have one some time ago… and I had the pleasure of driving it…. wow!!

My parents have the7.50Li and the new X5 4 .8i. they really are ultimate driving machines. But not as good as Mercedes-Benz:)

All depends what series u choose and what ur willing to spend. Beamers are continually making cheaper cars to appeal to a younger demographic, which (in my opinion) tarnishes the fine name that used to be BMW . Mercedes on the other hand are still keeping with their upper class clientele… but everybody and their dog drives a merc. these days, I’ll stick with my Saab for now.

Of course, I love my Panda! But i can always dream about a BMW …

driven several 3 series, 5 series, 7 series, 6 series and 8 series, own a 3 series.

I have driven cars ever since i was 14 working for my uncle and i have to say VW Golfs felt better to drive than Escort’s and Astra’s. BMW ’s felt better than Merc’s and Audi’s.

mine car leaked oil today and i have a replacement now. a ford Ka. what a fkk$%%$ ugly car that is :(

wish they gave me atleast a 1-serie

My friend has an M3. Those things are the sex! Can't wait for the new M3's to come out! Not like I'll be able to afford one or anything though ;)

I’m lucky enough to own an E46 330Ci Convertible. I’ve driven many cars in my 32 years and this is simply the best. It looks fabulous with the top up or down and is a design that won’t date. Then we come to the drive and what a drive it is. Smooth as silk, its like floating on low cloud. It handles beautifully and responsively. But saving the best until last, its the engine that makes this car. In traffic (which lets be honest we all spend a lot of time in) it’s perfect, a pussycat, not jerky or cumbersome. But when it truly comes alive is on the open road, its awesome power is something to behold and can easily catch you out if the traction control isn’t on! In all, just a perfect car.

I wish I had it too…;)

BMW is on the top of their game.  I have driven a 2001 325ci and now drive a 2007 328i.  My spouse is getting a 2007 x5.  Once you have driven a beemer all cars pale in comparison.

well i dont remember her name. i never do. what i do remember is she screamed of pleasure, and then the car started his engine and talked to me. he had a voice like k.i.t.t.
Told me i should get in and then he would drive to a underwaterworld full of blondines, i didnt believed him and i smashed the BMW into 2 pieces with a bottle of beer.

You must really love blondines and BMW to have a dream like that.......

I think my real dream is.... to be in a gorgeous BMW with a gorgeous man, preferably with dark hair and blue eyes, and I am the one driving!!

I came back to this website today after 5 months.  Curious to see the shift in the entries from reality to fantasy.  This is the genius of BMW marketing.  Their cars inspire … creativity and all that.  My update is my wife loves her X5 (she says it is the best car she has ever driven and I hope her last for a while) and my 328i was a little firm at first but is settling into a nice ride.  I am happy to have left behind Ford, Toyota, and Mercedes.

omg you guys are dumb!, damn no car beats BMW..My dad has the new 2008 BMW 760li and the 2004 745i(my fave car). You guys dont know anyhtin bout BMW i swear man, dont even talk! if you dont know what BMW stands for, why they chose those colours, where it was manufactured, how long its been out for..thn dont talk!!!!hah Mercedes Benz, wow im not saying its a bad car but face it they dont have any good concept cars like the M3 or M5..So, BMW all the way.

BMW cars are just always on the right track upon keeping their engines at its most stunning way.

this comment goes to nocturnal turk. u must have rich parents to drive such premiere cars. but I assure you the mercedez benz does not outperform the bimmers.  I have the 3-series and my friend had a SL500. he took my car for a silly joyride and later that month sold his sl to get a m3.  almost every bimmer handles better than any other german counterparts. benz is all luxury, bimmer is all performance.  Benz is not better in performance, end of story.
