I had a blackberry tree behind my house as a kid, and the berries were always crawling with very tiny light, yellow worms.  It was frightening.

They tasted okay, though. :)

This wonderful and beautiful state of Oregon has the best blackberries growing wild everywhere the closer to the rivers they grow the bigger and sweeter they are, the pies, cobblers and jams are better then anything. The blackberrie wine is also a treat for the adults, Oregon is famouus for its wine, fishing, and berrys and for its beauty.
