What is weird: In the lyrics written by Bill you cannot read anything happy. It sounds more desperate, sad and thoughtful. How can it be that a sad song makes the fans so happy? And it is no exception: there is almost no song that is happy from the beginning and full of energy. All songs have something sad and deep in the melodies, in the sounds, and in the lyrics. But why doesn't Bill write funny party songs?
Normally the TH-Front man should be full of joy: he's living his dream, he became a mega star by the age of 15. He celebrates his success all over Europe. Everywhere the fans are screaming his name, singing along to his German songs, although some of them don't even understand the lyrics. Bill can sing his feelings off his soul as millions of fans listen carefully. In addition, his brother Tom is always by his side. So Bill should be the happiest boy on this planet. But in contrary to Tom he always seems closed up and all to himself.
"Bill is simply much more emotional and sensible than I am," Tom explains of his brother. But there is something else that differs the two of them: While Tom has always groupies around him, and doesn't make a secret of hot nights, Bill often seems 'voluntarily' lonely. Over and over again he stresses that he's waiting for the big love. Crazy: He could have almost any girl, but for almost three years he hasn't kissed or cuddled.
"I'm just not the type to take a girls to my room for one night." A way of life that has its consequences: "On long trips I do feel lonely" And what does he do in such situations? Sleeping or – exactly, writing songs! "Music helps me – in every situation."

thank you zzxz for ending the plague of foolishness. Everyone and anyone who has to judge this musician should think for once. Think about this. Do you listen to music? Do you know how important music must be for Bill to devote his entire life to it? It is harder than anything to get into the music industry. I bet you that you listen to at least one band that has an ACTUAL homosexual band member. First off, he isnt gay, second off, it doesnt matter if he was. sexuality doesnt mean anything. You can't directly trans German to English. The wording wouldn't flow in the song if Bill were to sing 'Seas'. Das ist warum Er uses 'Oceans' instead. You'll find many differances in the wording from the original Deutsch zu English. Bill has done ein sehr gute job of translating them without loosing their meaning, even though he can not use the same words.
'Rette Mich', (das ist easy) 'Rescue Me'. They sound very similar so es works. 'Ich bin da', actually trans to 'I am there', but he sings "I an here". It works better.
Most won't trans straight, something most THers realize.

SLIGHTLY feminine? are you people nuts? i can't even believe it's male! The fact that he is denying he's gay is humorous. He will come out eventually…he's still young and hopefully his fans will support him no matter his sexual preference.
FYI, i hate to burst your bubbles but i live in hollywood and work in the industry. There are MANY actors and musicians who claim to be straight but behind the cameras are as gay as gay can be…only some are brave enough to come out.
