Big Ben actually refers to the bell in the clock tower, the tower itself is called St Stephen’s Tower, but we call it Big Ben anyway :)
Big Ben has the most awesome chime ever, and it can be heard every New Year’s Eve, or downloaded on the net, many Town Hall clocks around the UK have a similar chime to that of the great Big Ben
