A beta fish otherwise known as a siamese fighting fish are the best fish. They are a type of labyrinth fish meaning they breathe through a lung like organ called a labyrinth. (In other words they come up to the surface for air. They come in a variety of colors and are native to the rice patties of Thailand.

I have two Beta fish: Spazz and Wrath, and they rock. XD

Beta fish are very interesting. Pretty and colorful too.
