I for instance sometimes procrastinate. when I procrastinate I am “being myself,” I am being a weak part of myself. that shouldn’t be celebrated.
Of course not, when I think about people being themselves, I only think of the good that we are all capable of. There are also, unfortuneately, people who in being themselves, cause pain and hurt to ther people. Don't know what is going on in their minds, all I can do is be the best me I can be. To make a contribution to society, and not bring it down like the evil people you mentioned. Think about this: There are many more good people in the world, I know that for a fact.
I procrastinate too, the one "being myself" quality I could do without. But, if we recognize that certain behaviors are self-destructive, we can try to reduce them, and ultimately eliminate it.
