I always thought that history began with the written word, or maybe even those cave drawings. So pre-history whether it existed or not can only be conjecture.
i have to agree with Kink on this one, there is just History, Present, and Future.. no pre-history, no current present, and no -post future

although I like your guesses of whats in between, there is no in between as soon as this second is over it has gone to the past or if I see all of today as present then once it is tomorrow (future) it will be the past. I guess it depends on your frame of referance
