My father always threatened to tell me the “Green Monster” story if I didn’t eat my vegetables. I had no idea what the story was, but I was terrified. But then I became curious, and started asking him to tell it to me, but it turns out it was an idol threat. There was no Green Monster Story! Oh, the delightful dinners I could have had…
I am the green monster.
My dad used to tell the most intricate stories. When I was much younger and my sister was the "main" one he would make up ones about Batman and Gotham City haha. Then he told ME stories about 5 girls (Mona, Christie, Katie, Amy and Z) who found a magical land. And they were super detailed.. major plots and everything.
I still miss hearing them though I'm all grown up now!
