Not the DC Comics creation. The thing that the military almost actually used on Japan. Bombers packed with wooden crates. Wooden crates packed with framework. Framework packed with bats. Bats with incendiary bombs. Bombs away, bats spread out and find places to roost – aka buildings – and explosives go boom. Not the most effective weapon in the world, but probably the funniest thing that might have worked. If the A-bomb hadn’t have been developed first.
