Bacardi Anejo and Diet Coke

With ice and a slice, of course.

I had my first Anejo in the Bahamas back in 1993 – I’d only had white Bacardi up until then. Anejo is so much smoother, and mixed with Diet Coke provides a thirst-quenching way to cool down at the end of a hard day. On my return to the UK I tried to find somewhere that stocked it, but this proved fruitless.

Over the years I’ve been lucky to re-visit the Bahamas on several occasions, each time bringing back a bottle or three, but I now find myself down to the last dregs and no opportunity to go back for a while. Why don’t Bacardi import it to the UK? Or anywhere in Europe for that matter? A missed opportunity I feel.
