Jean and Lionel fell in love in the early 1950s, and spent three blissful months together before Lionel was posted to Korea. She never heard from him again. Lionel acquired a coffee plantation in Kenya, and a wife he despised; Jean married, had a daughter, lost her husband and started a secretarial agency. Fast-forward to the 1990s, and a chance encounter brings them back together – but has too much time passed for their love to be rekindled?
