Arjen Lucassen

Arjen Anthony Lucassen (born April 3, 1960) is a composer and musician from the Netherlands. He sings and plays a large variety of instruments, including guitars, flutes and synthesizers. Although he cannot read or write music, obviously as a guitar player, he knows chords and specific chord arrangements. In bands like Ayreon, he gathers a large group of musicians and records albums with them. Some famous people he gathered are Within Temptation, Lane lane, Fish(marillion), bruce dickenson, Ian Parry He is often credited with having revived the rock opera genre.
