Apple may not have “invented” all of these things in the tradition sense of the word but they certainly help create the bring the following concepts to mass fruition …

The Home PC The PC industry Desktop Publishing Graphical Interface for “Average” Users Consumer Electronics as Plug ‘n Play Design as an integral element of mass market product Ethernet & Networking as built-in components Major products such as VisiCalc, Word, Excel, PhotoShop all launched on the Apple or Mac first. First mass market browser launched on Mac (Mosaic – yes developed on Unix but major launch for Mac) Super Bowl advertising as an Event Popularized trackball and keyboard positioning on laptops. Of the few iconic products from the Pc history, the majority are Macs; Mac (orginal), iMac, PowerBook, laser printer, and of course, the iPod.

Apple is just plain great. They have great products and excellent OS system. I loving my Macbook :)

I like apple ipods, but not computers for some reason. Probably because you have to go through so much just to get to one particular file.

I don’t think it’s true you have to go through much to get a file. It’s definetly not worse than windows. And if you know the name of the file, you can just use spotlight.
