I cried when I read the book.
I think she could write very well. Had she survived, she would have become a great journalist/writer, just like she dreamt about…:(
I'm reading this book at the moment. I'm somewhere in the middle of it. I'm loving it. I think she writes very well, just like Nick said.
Yes she was indeed a good writer!
I remember reading her diary in 7th grade..I loved it so much, I bought a copy of my own.
One time, I wrote a very short movie entitled "The Diary of Anne Frankenstein." I think we filmed about half of it, and then ran out of money and motivation. But boy, was it funny.
I hope that was respectful… if you see what I mean…
Well, I was very careful not to poke fun at the holocaust or its victims. The Anne Frankenstein monster ends up killing Hitler, and Anne Frankenstein goes on to survive the war as a famous scientist. I was very concerned about how offensive it could be, and I wanted plenty of plot points that I could use to make the case that the story was light-hearted, and not meant to insult anyone who is not socially acceptable to insult.
Well in this case I think it was a good idea. Actually a brilliant idea. I wish you had realised it!!
;)
anne frank is such a great person, everyone should know about what she went through and how positive she was even in on those harsh circumstances..shes just great.
sad story…i only read the play and saw the movie, but i almost cried at the end.
So beautiful, cheerful face. I think I must read it.
