I like this movie, because it's about Russian history, which I am a genius at.
Anastasia actually died in real life. She was a Russian princess, heir to the Tsar. I guess they changed the ending so the movie wouldn't be sad, eh?
This was my all-time favorite movie ever… i liked it even better than the Lion King
haha, the lion king is a pretty hard movie to beat :) but i agree it is great not only does it tell the story of the Romanov family but I love the songs!!
It's the best movie ever! The real Anastasia might still be alive since only 5 female bodies were accounted for when they found the romanov family but 6 were murdered.

I lost my mom when I was 12, saw this movie at age 25 and could not stop crying at the end because it brought back such emotion. I cried for like an hour AFTER the movie was over.
Clear up a few things, she was killed along with the rest of her family and her bones were found in the woods several years ago!
She wasn't a Princess she was a Grand Dutchess! She wasn't heir to the throne, it was her brother Alexi!

I love this movie too! It's good that Anastasia is not a fragile little princess like Snow White and the others...
I downloaded the russian and the hungarian version too, they are both great! Though I can't really understand the russian one, but I know what they speak and there's the sub as well...
oh I love this movie! Even if it was a little off-basis on Anastasia's life it was still apretty good film. I wish I could watch it over adn over again!
