Alexisonfire is a five-piece post-hardcore band from St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada established in 2001. Their music is characterized by turbulent and explosive dynamics with intricate guitar melodies and their lyrical topics range from relationship troubles to go-karting. Another defining aspect of their music is their consistent use of multiple vocalists, all of their songs on their studio albums feature at least two singers (except for “Side Walk When She Walks”; “You Burn First” features Gared O’Donnell); George Pettit providing screams and Dallas Green providing melody, and Wade MacNeil will lend his punk rock vocals to the mixture. Despite popular belief from some individuals, not helped by the band spelling their name as one word, the band is called “Alexis On Fire” not “Alex Is On Fire”. The band is managed by Joel Carriere, co-founder of the popular Canadian online music magazine Bedlam Society, and their label, Dine Alone Records. Their latest album, Crisis, debuted at number one on the Canadian charts.

I live in St.Catharines and I would just like to say that they have everyone here supporting them and that they are the only band ever!
Okay, even my friend who has been to their concerts can’t tell me… is it “Alex is on fire” or “Alexis on fire”?
