George Alexander Trebek (born as Giorgi Suka-Alex Trebek on July 22, 1940) is an Emmy Award-winning Canadian-American television personality and game show host, best known as the host of the game show Jeopardy! since 1984. He has hosted numerous game/quiz shows and has appeared in over 70 movies and television series, usually as himself. Though a native of Canada, he is now also a naturalized United States citizen.
