The mysterious and beautiful singer, Arai Akino.
Miss Akino has become famous for her haunting vocals that have made their mark mostly in anime and video games. Some of her well-known songs are "Voices" from the anime Macross Plus, and the ending themes of the anime Outlaw Star, "Hiru no Tsuki" (Daytime Moon) and "Tsuki no Ie" (House of the Moon.) She also sang the ending theme, "Kanaete" (Grant My Wish) to the anime Ayatsuri Sakon. She also has sung numerous songs for the classic, Record of Lodoss War.
Akino is a rare artist in that she composes much of her own music, produces her own lyrics, and sings. Besides working on anime and game music, Akino has released 9 albums, as well as numerous singles and compilations. Many of her songs are related to nature and give off an ethereal and haunting feeling.
Some of her most recent work includes the ending song to the anime Kaze no Stigma, which she composed.
