2NE1 is YG's new female group, also known as the Female BIG BANG.
YG Entertainment has officially released the long awaited group's name: 2NE1. YG has stated that the group will fully debut with their 1st album on May and they will proceed with their group activities until the end of the year. There are a teeny possibility that the existent fo the 5th member are valid.
Their first digital single "Lollipop" was released on March 27th, 2009.
YG Entertainment explained that 21 came about because their music will always be fresh, like the age of 21. It also references to the best hand in a game of blackjack. CL will be the leader with the other members being Park Bom, Sandara Park and Gong Min Ji.
LG CYON recently released their new campaign for the new Lollipop mobile phones. The campaign features YG Entertainment's Big Bang and introduces YG's new girl group named 21.
