The 1983 Delorean was the coolest way to travel through time in the 1980’s. The user interface is relatively simple. Just punch the date you want to travel on a keypad, the red LED lights show you where you end up with a great deal of accuracy.
This model has been problematic in the past. Improper wiring caused the user to go to times that were not originally punched in. This had now been remedied, and now has a full 365 millennia warranty.
You can now purchase one on eBay.

In 1985 I saw the Delorian close up. How cool is that!
It’s basically a early 80s Renault with stainless steel panels glued (yes, glued!) onto a plastic internal structure. It looks good yes, but it might fall apart at 88mph rather than time travel…
Yeah, a standard Delorean would fall apart sure, but this is Doc Brown’s Delorean and as such is totally pimped.
I saw a Delorian a few weeks ago at the garage down my street. I laughed so hard I cried
i OWN delorean and the panels are NOT GLUED to the car. the only thing thats an early 80s Renault on the car is the transmission. all of your ignorance is laughable.
Realmente o Delorean foi e ainda é um dos carros + lindos já construídos e usados em filmes que conheço. Pura tecnologia para aquela época!
i thought they discontinued this car because of the fuel tank. is that true?
^ Actually, they stopped being produced because the Delorean Motor Company went bankrupt shortly after John Z. Delorean was arrested on drug trafficking charges. He was found not guilty, but the company was stuggling before then, so the arrest was the final straw for DMC . They closed in 1982.
Well, of course he was arrested. The delorean was invented to smuggle cocaine. That's why it was so light. The space between the interior and exterior was hollow, and filled with bags of drugs. It was a car that didn't have to hold itself together, because its value had nothing to do with vehicular quality, and everything to do with how much could be packed within the framework.
wish I had that car
