I was the first one at my school to get checkered Vans, and my last name is Van Elsberg. In my guitar class my Sophmore year, we all gave each other nicknames. My old best friend, Andy, started calling me Vano, and it stuck. I use it on here because it’s short, and it isn’t too bad of a nickname.
